CALABANGA PEOPLE'S OCTAGON by Alex Guarte

        Calabanga People's Octagon is located at Poblacion beside the Municipality of Calabanga Hall and the Mayor's office. This was sponsored by Baguio-Andaya and was originally named as Baguio-Andaya People's Hall. This is the only arena in Calabanga which has been known because of its structure. This was shaped as an octagon on its top view. Since then all events were held there, now, the Calabanga Octagon is currently fabricating three units of bleachers and implementing rules regulations. This Octagon has been open for everyone. Many events were held there most especially during the Calabanga Town Fiesta like the exhibition of DLC and Majorettes, and the exhibition of fancy drills from different schools and deligates. During the Miss Calabanga Pageant, the Octagon was full of people watching over the lovely candidates.

        It is now under renovation for the benefit of the people during events. Calabanga Octagon is, indeed, one of the structures that the Calabanguenos are proud to have.
