MOUNT ISAROG by Chzarina Mae De Osio

      Mount Isarog, which is located in Camarines Sur, is known as one of the active stratovolcano. It is seen on Goa, Tigaon, Ocampo, Pili, Naga City, and especially on Calabanga. Mt. Isarog has a rich diversity.

       Naguenos said, even Calabanguenos, that this mountain protects them. They even call this mountain as "Vulcan de Agua", because of the abundance of rivers. It also supplies water to the towns in Camarines Sur. It is also a watershed for the surrounding region.

        There are many places of interest that can be found near Mt. Isarog such as hot springs and the Panicuason Nature Adventure Park.
